Supplying and erecting over 114 tonnes of steel to a grade II listed building right in the heart of one of the north’s largest cities was no mean feat, but, again working hand-in-hand with Laing O’Rourke we have virtually completed this contract on 4 levels within the original shell without mishap.
Main consideration had to be given to actually getting the steel into the building, and then erected in confined space, which presented problems to our design and erection teams, but these problems were solved quickly using years of refurbishment experience and know how.
